Iced Coffee Frappé

Iced Coffee Frappé
This is a cool, nutritious drink for the warm summer months. If you have time fill an ice cube tray with Oat Drink and place in the freezer for a couple of hours. Once frozen these frozen Oat Drink cubes can be used instead of regular ice cubes which tend to dilute the drink.
Frappé can be made with either instant coffee or freshly made ground coffee that has been allowed to cool down.
Serves 1
Ingredients
200ml strong coffee
75 ml Oat Drink
1 – 2 tsp sugar
4 ice cubes
whipped or ice cream to serve (optional)
Method
Pour the cold coffee into a blender with the milk and sugar. Place the ice cubes (or frozen Oat Drink cubes) in a plastic food bag, seal and crush with a rolling pin.
Place the coffee mixture in a liquidiser and blend until foamy and the ice is quite slushy. Pour into a glass and add a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
