Dairy free fruit shakes

Making shakes is a great way of tempting children to consume cow’s milk replacements such as Oat Drink and helps them to get the calcium they need. Combining plant milk with fruit makes a filling, hydrating drink for young ones and also encourages them to consume fruit. Other fruit such as banana, pineapple, blueberries and strawberries can be used as a substitute for raspberries.
Ingredients
Serves 2
200g raspberries
600ml Oat Drink
1 tablespoon lactose free yogurt or ice cream
Method
Place the raspberries, Oat Drink and yogurt (or ice cream) in a liquidiser and process for 30 seconds until all the raspberries have been broken down to form a smooth drink.
